A large group of devoted and slightly crazy people may make up the organizers, who each serve in various committees as well, including Infrastructure, Volunteers, Sponsorships and CFP. We are very grateful to everyone on the team for their efforts every year to make this event happen. But of course, in addition to those named above, we also have our legion of volunteers without which our event would not function. So to all of you as well, we say, "Thanks!"

BSidesDC was founded in August of 2012, by Bill Fisher and Mark Boltz-Robinson.

BSides DC LLC is a Virginia limited liability company created to promote and manage BSides DC. It is run by two co-directors, various committee chairs and a host of additional organizers, to whom we also give thanks, as their hard work is what allows BSidesDC to function.

What is Security BSidesDC?

Security BSides DC is a regional Security BSides held in Washington, DC. It operates under the umbrella principles of Security BSides as a larger community project within information security.

Each Security BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for, and by, information security practitioners. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

BSides DC LLC is a Virginia limited liability company created to promote and manage BSides DC. It is run by two co-directors, various committee chairs and a legion of volunteers, for whom we are eternally grateful, as their hard work is what allows BSidesDC to function.
